My name is Michelle, the creator of nappycakesandcrafts.co.uk, which first started as a hobby, making Nappy Cakes for friends, family and work colleagues. By word of mouth my hobby has now grown into a small business which has led me to create my very own website to provide an unusual gift option for family, friends and work colleagues to give new mothers and babies.

 A Nappy Cake is created using rolled up disposable nappies and assembled to resemble a tiered cake, and then decorated with baby products such as baby toiletries, bibs, socks, clothes, feeding items and muslin squares. The entire cake can later be taken apart and the items used by mother and baby. A Nappy Cake can make a special gift for a new birth, maternity leave present, centrepiece at a baby shower or as a 1st birthday present.

 Each Nappy Cake is individually handmade and comes beautifully wrapped in clear cellophane and decorated with a coordinating bow and ingredients tag listing all the goodies inside. Examples of cakes I have already custom made are included on this site.
